Our Mission
The Mission: To transform high school so every NECCA Academy student graduates proficient and with a plan, a purpose and a path forward. Through early college exposure for all students, our students graduate either prepared to enter a 4-year university or immediately enter a high paying, high-demand career field.
The Need: In North Las Vegas, there are over 10,000 high school aged students, and not a single 9-12 grade high school with a 4 or 5-Star rating. Of those who graduate, less than 5% are proficient in math and less than 20% are proficient in English Language Arts.
By fulfilling the school’s mission, every student will graduate with meaningful college credit and/or stackable workforce credentials, and the academic, social-emotional, and navigational skills required to persist in college, careers, and adult life. The school will expand equitable access to dual enrollment, deliver personalized instruction, integrate whole-child supports through a strong MTSS framework, and remove structural barriers that have historically limited postsecondary attainment.

Academic and Student Life
9th and 10th grade students complete the majority of high school coursework virtually, with in-person support. Freshmen can participate in their first college course during second semester.
Tenth grade students take up to three college courses.
Eleventh and twelfth grade students take up to 5 college courses per semester.
