Enrollment and Coursework
NECCA stands for Nevada Early College Career Academy, reflecting the school’s focus on preparing students for both college and career pathways.
We are currently in the application process now to the state, with hopes of opening for the 2027-2028 school year.
After we receive approval from the state to begin operations, we will notify all families who have expressed. The enrollment window will then open October 1, 2026, and we will hold our first lottery on February 1, 2027.

The College of Southern Nevada (CSN) will serve as NECCA’s primary dual enrollment partner due to its close proximity to the community. NECCA has also established relationships with Great Basin College (GBC), Truckee Meadows Community College (TMCC), and Nevada State University (NSU). All partner institutions are part of the Nevada System of Higher Education (NSHE), ensuring students have access to accredited, high-quality college coursework.
No, there is no cost to families to participate.
NECCA is tuition-free, as required by law, and is also committed to remaining fee-free for students.
Unfortunately, many dual enrollment programs in Nevada follow the tuition-free requirement but still charge families a per-course fee (up to $175 per course) or impose penalties if a student earns a grade below a C.
NECCA is committed to removing financial barriers to participation for all students, ensuring students of all backgrounds have equitable access to college coursework without added cost or risk.
NECCA will provide both transportation and access to meals to support student success. Transportation is available for all required in-person programming, through traditional school bus routes, including Student Success classes and Elevate sessions, as well as select dual enrollment opportunities.
Students also have access to breakfast and lunch during in-person days through the school’s nutrition program.
These services are designed to remove barriers so students can consistently attend and fully participate in the NECCA model.
Nope! NECCA provides every students with a school-issued device to support their coursework.
Students who need reliable internet access may also be eligible for support through hotspot allocation, ensuring they can fully participate in both virtual and in-person learning.
