Dual Enrollment

Not to be a broken record, but we hold a strong core belief that every student is capable of success when provided with both opportunity and support. Across the country, early college and dual enrollment programs lead their districts in states and in student outcomes, especially in communities where access to quality education of any kind is severely limited. A not-so-fun fact: there are close to 10,000 high school students in our target zip codes and not a single 4 or 5-Star rated school that serves grades 9 - 12.

NECCA Academy's model simply says: We believe in all students. We will meet every student wherever they're at on their academic journey - teaching foundational skills where necessary - so that every student builds confidence and capacity to excel in all learning environments, including dual enrollment.

Dual Enrollment for all Students, beginning in 9th grade.

NECCA Academy has worked with community colleges at length to develop a comprehensive plan to support all students through early college exposure.

Ninth Grade: Students with a minimum 2.5 GPA in their second semester are eligible for ALS101: Academic and Life Success

Tenth Grade: Students who successfully complete ALS101 and maintain a 2.5 GPA are eligible for two elective courses (e.g. fine arts, foreign language)

Eleventh & Twelfth Grade: Consistent with the majority of high school in Nevada, students have access to 3 to 5 core and/or elective courses per semester, aligned to the student's academic plan. â€‹

NECCA Academy's difference: No tuition, no add-on fees, transportation provided and students are upported the entire way.
